My current system is inadiquate to continue working in the motion graphics industry. I am currently rendering a single frame for a client that has been running for ten hours at the time of creating this print, and it is 40 hours from completion. I'm sure you'll agree that 2 days for a single frame makes animation at 30 frames per second, completely out of the question.
In order to stay in business I need to raise $5,000 for the following hardware:
An Intel Xenon E5-2694 V3 2.6Ghz 14-Core CPU,
a Noctua NH-D9L 46.4 CFM CPU cooler,
four Crucial 32GB DDR4-2133 memory modules,
a Lian-Li PC-A55B ATX mid tower case,
a SeaSonic 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX PSU, and
an ASRock rack.
I'll also need a network switch and a few periferals to complete this networked render node.
