I notice how the government has tried to shift the blame for their ineptitude onto the EU. You wait, this story will be used to further vilify the evilness of Brussels. Because acceptance from the government would demonstrate their savage cuts were not well thought out. They haven’t handed it all back yet. They just haven’t spent it. They are considering giving it to refugees or victims of modern slavery. Undoubtedly good causes, but what about the child poverty so obviously apparent within many Uk 🇬🇧 ? Saying that three and a half million £ is not a large sum of money for national redistribution. Just a sensationalist headline. Trying to achieve the dreaded Brexit has wasted so much time and energy, it not surprising that everything else has been neglected.
